The pre-analysis phase is one of the most critical parts of the project. It is the phase during which the information is gathered from the users in order to establish a project scope which will define what will be covered by standard functionalities of OpenERP and what require customization.

An analysis will be planned with your project manager to clearly define your needs based on the OpenERP functional coverage and propose solutions through the OpenERP official modules. Customized functionalities will be made customized according to your specifications.


This analysis phase is critical into transforming the customer’s requirement into detailed specifications. In this phase, we define the business process blue print of the scope involved. The methodology used on OpenERP project goes into many details. We offer you four types of customization:

  • Screens: Change in screen, or creating new screens based on your needs
  • Work-flows: Change iany work-flow to adept OpenERP process to your company flows
  • Role Configuration: We can automate actions based on the business process and configure specific role within the business process
  • Reports: We can develop a new reports or do changes in to the existing reports based on your needs.

The detailed analysis will also provide the information required to assess the cost of the development of new modules when required.


In this phase, customized modules undergo through User Acceptance Tests to ensure that the specified modules are compliant with his expectations. The implementation phase in based on sprints, to ensure continuous feedback throughout the development. As soon as specifications are evaluated and confirmed, our team will conduct final functional and technical check to ensure that inital user requirements are met.


The deployment phase will include data migration and user training. Our expert will define templates of .CSV files to be imported in OpenERP. Data from existing applications will all be migrated into OpenERP server. OpenERP can be deployed by two methods:

  • Internal Server: with this option, users must have in internal hardware server to store all of their data. OpenERP could be accessed internally and online. Users pay initial hardware fee for data storage.
  • Software as Service (SaaS): with this option, all internal data would be kept online at external server. Users pay monthly fee for data storage service.

  1. Project Manager (PM): Innotek PM is responsible for the whole project from project pre-analysis to deployment. PM also handles commercial issues and project management as a whole.
  2. Software Analysts (SFA): Innotek SFA is a specialized System Analyst for modules such as DMS, CRM, MRP, Warehouse, HR, Project. SFA will perform UAT , design workflow, and customize modules according to user requirement.
  3. Software Developers (SD): Innotek SD is a developers responsible for the development of a specialized module, forms, and reports that users require.


  1. Project Manager (PM): Customer PM is responsible for the whole implementation project. Customer PM is responsible for guiding Innotek during the developments.
  2. Key Users (KU): Key users who are associated with the business process involved. KU is responsible for preparing the data/ information required during the developments.
  3. IT Administrator (ITA): ITA coordinated technical issues of the system application within the company.
